Ingredients to make Jhatpat 5min mushroom red & green capsicum sabzi

  • 1 packet mushrooms
  • 1green capsicum
  • 1red capsicum
  • 1onion
  • 1tomato
  • 1 tbsp oil 1tbsp butter
  • 1tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp elaichi or green cardamom powder
  • 1/4tsp Black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Jhatpat 5min mushroom red & green capsicum sabzi

  1. Clean mushrooms under tap water n dry them with cloth and cut into 2 parts each
  2. Chop onion and tomato, cut red and green capsicum in small cubes
  3. Take a non stick or heavy bottom pan and switch on gas stove, add 1tbsp oil and 1tbsp butter
  4. Add chopped onions fry for sometime when it turns golden in colour add capsicums fry for 30sec now add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, black pepper powder, cardamom powder, jeera powder ,salt to taste fry for 1 min
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes and garam masala powder, fry 1min
  6. Now add cut mushrooms fry for 1 min n add 2to3 drop lemon juice or vinegar optional
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  8. Sabzi is ready to serve enjoy with butter naan or paratha

My Tip:

Don't soak mushrooms in water they tend to absorb water n spoil the recipe
