Amritsari fish tikka

Ingredients to make Amritsari fish tikka

  • 500 gm fish ( deboned)
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1 tspn
  • cumin powder 1/2 tspn
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tspn
  • oil 6 to 10 tspn
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tspn
  • Rice flour 2 tspn
  • Corn flour 2 tspn
  • Sampling 1 tspn
  • Orange food colour in traces
  • Juice of 2 lemons

How to make Amritsari fish tikka

  1. Wash and pat the fish pieces with a kitchen towel to dry them completely. Make a marinade of ginger garlic paste,salt, chilli powder ,lemon juice ,food colour, 2 tspn oil . Let it marinate for 25 minutes.
  2. Now add both the flours to marinated mixture, add semolina and mix well
  3. In a non stick pan add some oil and shallow fry these pieces till done from both sides

My Tip:

Grate some radish ,squeeze the juice, and then add lemon juice , chopped green chillies ,coriander leaves and salt to it and serve.
