ABOUT Choco Burst Cake RECIPE

No matter whatever is the ocassion, chocolate is an all time favourite of everyone and mine too. Time to bake a chocolate cake with a little twist.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida/flour 1 cup
  2. Chocolate colour - a few drops
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. dahi/Curd 3/4 cup
  5. Powdered sugar 3/4 cup
  6. butter 3/4 cup
  7. baking soda 1 tsp
  8. Drinking Chocolate 1 tbsp
  9. Baking powder 1 tsp
  10. Cocoa powder 4 tbsp
  11. butter and Flour for dusting the pan


  1. Preheat the oven at 150 degree centigrade for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Sieve all the dry ingredients (maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, soda and drinking chocolate).
  3. Mix together butter, dahi and sugar in a bowl.
  4. Slowly whisk the maida mixture and the wet ingredients followed by milk and add the chocolate colour.
  5. Grease the baking pan with butter and sprinkle flour over it.
  6. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 150 degree centigrade until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean.
