Basant panchami is a famous festival in the spring season. People celebrate with different ways in different states and country. Our Goddess swaraswati pooja celebrated in this day. In Bengal young chaps also enjoy mini Valentine's day. The day is a auspicious so people can do any function like education started ceremony, marriage and rice ceremony. Girls wear yellow costume or yellow Saree. Prasad serve with yellow effects. Every where field seems yellow flowers.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Strain water rice 250 gms
  2. green peas 1 bowl
  3. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  5. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  6. coriander powder 1 tsp
  7. All ground masala 1 tsp
  8. Ginger Paste 1 Tsp
  9. Bay leaves 2
  10. Pure ghee 2 tsp
  11. Oil as required
  12. Salt as required

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and strain water.
  2. Take a deep pan heat add oil then bay leaves. Now add ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tomato puree, chilli powder and rice.
  3. Mix well and stir continuously. Now add green peas.
  4. Now add warm water and close the lid till cook.
  5. After ten minutes open the lid add all ground spice and pure ghee.
  6. Serve with assorted recipe brinjal and bombai chilli stuffed, mix vegetables, tomato chutney and curd
