Masaledaar Fried Fish

Ingredients to make Masaledaar Fried Fish

  • 1 kg Fish of any kind
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp fish masala
  • 1 cup wheat flour for coating
  • oil for frying

How to make Masaledaar Fried Fish

  1. Clean the fish well and keep aside .
  2. Marinate the fish with all the masalas and keep aside for an hour at the least . It will be better if it is marinated and kept refrigerated overnight.
  3. To the wheat flour add in a tsp of red chilli powder and salt so that it does not taste bland .
  4. Deep fry a few at a time . Ensure that the fish is well coated on all sides with the flour .

My Tip:

It's best to marinate the fish overnight . That way the masalas will seep in all the way through the meat . Wheat flour makes it an healthier option and won't make a difference in taste at all .
