Ingredients to make Karamra (sweet dish)

  • rice 2 cup cooked ( without salt)
  • 4 cup sour curd
  • 250 gms mava
  • sugar 2 cups
  • Half tspoon elaichi powder
  • 20-25 strands of saffron soaked in 1 tspoon warm water
  • For garnishing handful of sliced almonds
  • Handful of pomegranate
  • Handful of sweet raisins
  • Half cup grated coconut

How to make Karamra (sweet dish)

  1. Take a big bowl put cooked rice in that mash it Lil bit.. now add sour curd ,mava , sugar , elaichi powder n saffron.... take hand mixie n run in that mixture... don't make smooth paste... thoda rice ka texture rehne DE. .... now take this out in single serving bowl garnish it with coconut , almonds slice,pomegranate, n raisins... keep this in fridge for 5 hours... serve chilled....
