ABOUT Rice roti. RECIPE

A kerala traditional roti usually taken for breakfast, ,goes well with all types of non veg & veg curries.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw rice 1 cup
  2. Cooked rice 1/4 cup
  3. Coconut 1/2 cup
  4. Yeast 1/4 tsp
  5. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  6. Salt.as required.
  7. Water,as required. U can use coconut water also.

Instructions

  1. Soak rice for 2 hrs.
  2. Dissolve yeast in a reaspoon of water,with 1 tsp of sugar. Keep it for some time.
  3. Grind the soaked rice with cooked rice & coconut,adding enough water.
  4. Make sure it s a thick consistency.
  5. Add dissolved yeast. Keep the batter for 5,6 hrs.
  6. Take a steamer,boil water,pour, 1/2 cup of the batter. Steam for 10 min.
  7. Serve hot with any type of curries.
