A punjabi sabji very tasty gravy besan pakode and aloo. Big size besan sev easy available in market which tastes tangy when cooked in thick gravy of onion and tomato.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Besan pakode 250gms
  2. Potatoes 4 big
  3. Tomato 1 big
  4. Onions 2 big
  5. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  6. Salt as to taste.
  7. Red chilly powder as to taste.
  8. Turmeric
  9. Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  10. Corainder leaves
  11. Oil 7 tsp


  1. Heat oil in pressure cooker
  2. Add cumin seeds
  3. Add ginger garlic paste
  4. Add minced onions
  5. Make them golden
  6. Add tomatoes
  7. Make thick gravy
  8. Add potatoes peeled of and cut into cubes.
  9. Add pakode
  10. Add salt
  11. Add red chilly powder
  12. Add turmeric saute well
  13. Add 4 cup water
  14. Cover the cooker
  15. Wait for 4 to 6 whistles
  16. Off the flame
  17. Check and garnish with corrainder leaves
