ABOUT Ragi lace dosa RECIPE

Ragi is very healthy food. If we can include ragi in our every day diet, it helps us to stay healthy. It has lot of calcium and keeps our body healthy and fit. Usually, everyone drinks early in the morning with jaggery mixed ragi drink. To have it in solid diet form, we can have ragi idli or ragi dosa too. I am sharing a simple recipe for ragi lace dosa.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ragi flour-1 cup
  2. Sooji - 1 cup
  3. Rice flour- 1 Cup
  4. Maida- 1/2 cup
  5. Onions- finely chopped
  6. Green chillies- 2 finely chopped
  7. Coconut- small portion ( finely chopped)
  8. cumin seeds -1 tsp
  9. Salt - as per our taste
  10. Oil- to roast the dosa
  11. Carrot- 1 ( grated)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients and let it rest for 30 min
  2. Heat a tawa and sprinkle few drops of oil
  3. Now take a small glass and pour the batter from outside to inside. We can see netted pattern
  4. Let it fry for 3 mins. Then apply little oil and roast till it becomes crispy and golden colour
  5. Serve with coconut chutney or ginger pickle or mint chutney
