Ingredients to make Roti

  • 1cup whole wheat flour
  • salt
  • 2 tbspn ghee
  • Half cup warm water

How to make Roti

  1. Put flour ,salt n ghee in a mixing bowl n mix it with hand..
  2. Add water slowly n keep kneading .. make sure dough is soft , but not sticky..
  3. Keep it aside for 20 mins
  4. Now punch down with hands n knead it again for 5 mins
  5. Heat iron tawa
  6. Make 6 small balls
  7. Use rolling pin to flatten dough into thin round circle .
  8. Put one roti on the tawa at a time. Wait until one side turns a Lil golden thn flip to another side wait again for it to turn golden . Flip over one more time now roti ll start to puff with some air. Lightly dap the roti so that air can reach all parts of the roti..
  9. Take it out .put ghee on one side. Place in container with lid.... Serve hot...
