Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 bowls makki ka aata /corn meal flour
  2. 4 to 5 boiled and mashed potatoes
  3. 1 tea spoon salt
  4. 1 tea spoon carom.seeds
  5. 1/2 tea spoon garam masala
  6. 1/2tea spoon red chilli powder
  7. 1 to 2 cups luke warm water
  8. 1/2 cup oil
  9. 1 table spoon ginger chilli paste
  10. Few chopped coriender leaves

Instructions

  1. In a big broad vessel add flour with all the mentioned ingredients except oil
  2. Rub the flour with hands
  3. Then knead the flour by adding water little by little till combined a soft smooth dough
  4. Then keep the flour for rest 5 minutes
  5. Then divide the flour into 6 equal parts
  6. Make round balls
  7. Then on a greased parchment paper place a ball of the dough cover it with other greased parchment paper spread with rolling pin or with your hands in to a round chapati
  8. Remove the upper parchment paper and put the chapati over hot non stick tava
  9. Sprinkle oil over and all sides of the chapati
  10. Roast the chapati from both the sides
  11. Then serve with fresh butter with the tempting combo of saag
