ABOUT Curd Rice RECIPE

It is very easy to make and easy to digest. Above all delicious, using only a few ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled rice 1 cup
  2. curd 1 cup
  3. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  4. 1/8 tsp black pepper powder
  5. 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  6. Kadi leaf 2 sprigs
  7. chopped chilies 1
  8. 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  9. salt to taste
  10. oil for tadka
  11. cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  12. 3 pinch hing
  13. coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  14. 1/4 cup pomegranate for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Mix and cool boiled rice and beaten curd, keep aside.
  2. For tadka, take oil in a kadhai, add hing and mustard seeds, cumin seeds and saute for a while. Put curry leaves, green chilies and ginger. Turn off the gas.
  3. Add this tadka to rice and curd mix and put salt, black pepper, coriander powder and chopped coriander leaves. Finally, garnish with pomegranate. Serve
