- ½ cup corn flour/corn starch
- 1½ cup water
- few drops of red food colour/any food colour of your choice

- 1¼ cup sugar
- 1 Cup water

My Tip:
You can use food colour of your choice and complement it with essence. Here, as we have used red colour, we have added rose essence. If you are using orange colour, you can add orange essence. You have to keep stirring continuously while making this halwa. Otherwise, lumps will be formed.
