Veg Boiled Pulav/ Pulao

Ingredients to make Veg Boiled Pulav/ Pulao

  • 1 Cup washed rice (soaked in water)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 Tbsp ghee or butter
  • Whole khada masala- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • cloves 4
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Shah jeera 1/2 tsp
  • 1 large onion (Sliced)
  • 1 large tomato
  • 2 Small potatoes
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp pulao masala
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • Green capsicum 1
  • 3/4 cup green peas
  • 3/4 Cup diced carrots

How to make Veg Boiled Pulav/ Pulao

  1. Wash rice and soak in water for 15 to 20 mins
  2. Take a vessel add oil and ghee and heat on medium flame
  3. Now add whole khada masala, onion slices, tomato slices and mix well
  4. Add potatoes cubes, carrots, saute for 5 to 6 minutes
  5. Now add ginger garlic , green chilli paste saute until raw aroma goes away. Add red chilli powder , garam masala, pulao masala, coriander seeds powder, cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix all together nicely. Add a little hot water cook for 2 to 3 mins
  6. Now add green peas, green capsicum and mix well
  7. Add chopped coriander Leaves
  8. Now add warm water in mixture
  9. Add in soaked rice and mix well
  10. Boil and then cover with the lid till the rice is ccoked
  11. After 15 to 20 check rice
  12. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  13. Serve hot

My Tip:

Here I prefer boiled rice with vegetables together with masala. You can do live on tava tippical pulao procedure
