Ingredients to make Kela Do Pyaza

  • Raw bananas 8
  • Paste of 4 onions
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 3 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Zeera powder 1 tsp
  • onion cut into slices 1
  • oil to fry

How to make Kela Do Pyaza

  1. Cut raw banana lengthwise and Peel the rind.
  2. Fry all slices and keep aside
  3. Fry onion slices and keep aside
  4. In the oil add zeera powder, add onion paste and saute
  5. Wait for the onion to turn pink and add ginger garlic paste
  6. Add all dry spices and saute
  7. Put on low flame and cook till it leaves the pan
  8. Put the fried bananas and cook for five minutes
  9. Garnish with fried onions , coriander leaves and fresh cream
  10. Serve with plain roti and rice

Similar curry can be made with other variants as jackfruit, Colocasia, paneer, mushroom, etc
