ABOUT Chapati noodles RECIPE

Eating Chapatis everyday can get boring, be it for an adult or for a child. Now this is a tasty twist to make the same dish interesting and it is healthy too.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chapatis - 4
  2. onions chopped - 2
  3. cabbage chopped - 1/4 cup
  4. ginger garlic paste - 3/4 tsp
  5. green chilies slit - 2 to 3
  6. capscicum - 1/4 cup (chopped)
  7. beans cut - 1/4 cup
  8. carrot - 1/4 cup
  9. salt as needed
  10. pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. soya sauce - 1 to 2 tbsp
  12. tomato sauce - 1/2 tsp
  13. coriander leaves - a bunch
  14. oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Make chapatis as normal and stack them and cut them into four quarters. Now cut each quarter into long strips and keep aside.
  2. Heat a pan with oil and add ginger-garlic paste and saute until raw smell goes away. Now add the onions and green chilies and fry until translucent
  3. Now add all the vegetables and fry for a few minutes. Now cover with a lid and let them cook until done. Keep sprinkling water whenever necessary to avoid them getting burnt.
  4. Now add the seasonings - salt, pepper powder, soya sauce, tomato sauce and mix well.
  5. Now add the cut strips of chapatis and saute until they are coated well with sauce. Sprinkle a few drops of water/milk if too dry.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with raita.
