    Ingredients to make Easy chutney powder

    • urad dal - 200gms
    • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2 tbsp or as per your taste
    • asafoetida - 1 tsp
    • salt to taste

    How to make Easy chutney powder

    1. Take a thick bottomed kadai. Dry roast urad dal till golden brown on a low flame till you get a nice aroma.
    2. Now add asafoetida and red chilli powder and fry for 2 minutes.
    3. Set aside to cool the mixture.
    4. Take a grinder jar. Add salt and the cooled mixture and make a fine powder.
    5. Store in a clean air-tight container.
    6. No need to keep this chutney powder in fridge. Stays good for 2 months.
    7. Add coconut oil to the chutney while serving.

    My Tip:

    The flame should always be set to low to avoid over roasting
