Stuffed capsicums

Ingredients to make Stuffed capsicums

  • capsicums. 6
  • Boiled potatoes 3 big
  • salt to taste
  • onion 1 chopped
  • green chilly 2
  • red chilli pd 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric a pinch
  • amchur pd 1 tsp
  • jeera 1 tsp
  • Garm masala 1 /2 tsp
  • besan 2 tbsp
  • oil 1 cup
  • hing a pinch

How to make Stuffed capsicums

  1. Wash capsicums. Put upper lid of capsicums. Keep aside
  2. Take a kadahi or pan. Turn on the gas put 1 tsp oil in it
  3. Put Jeera in it. When It becomes brown put onion in it till they become pink
  4. Now add potatoes, amchur, red and green chillies, black pepper, turmeric, salt and garam masala in it
  5. Mix well. Turn Off the gas and let it cool
  6. Take another bowl. Put Besan water and a pinch salt in it and mix well. Make a batter like pakoras
  7. Now heat oil in kadahi. Fill capsicums with potatoes mixture one by one.
  8. Put capsicums in besan batter one by one
  9. Put capsicums in oil on a slow flame
  10. Stir fry capsicums if you don't want to deep fry them
  11. Tilt capsicums up and down for cooking
  12. Now put capsicums in a bowl or plate
  13. Serve with puri or chapati
  14. It can be served as snacks also

My Tip:

You can use boiled peas in it. Potatoes can be used without frying also. It can be shallow fried on the tawa.
