Ingredients to make Home style Masoor

  • 100 grams masoor dal
  • 1 tomato small
  • 1 onion small
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1tspn cummin seeds
  • 1/4 tspn turmeric
  • 1tspn red chilli powder or as per taste
  • 1/2 tspn corriander
  • 1 tblspn pure ghee
  • Few corriander leaves to garnish
  • salt to taste

How to make Home style Masoor

  1. Wash dal well soak
  2. Chop onion tomato fine separately
  3. Heat pure ghee and fry onions
  4. Add tomatoes and crushed garlic
  5. Add salt and all seasoning
  6. Mix the soak masoor and mix well
  7. Cook in pressure cooker 10 min
  8. Remove and serve with chapatis or rice
  9. Serve with Garnish of coriander
