Chilled Maggi Salad

Ingredients to make Chilled Maggi Salad

  • 70 gm Maggi Noodles ( 2 packs of Rs. 5 each )
  • 1 teaspoon dark Soya Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon schezwan chutney
  • water as needed
  • Ice cold water to wash the boiled noodles
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 capsicum, sliced
  • 1/4 cup White spring onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green spring onion stalk
  • 1 carrot, cut into roundels
  • Maggi masala sachets , got with the pack
  • 2 - 3 teaspoon oil

How to make Chilled Maggi Salad

  1. Add little salt and 1 teaspoon oil to 5 cups of water.
  2. Bring it to a boil and add the noodles.
  3. Let them boil for 9 to 10 minutes on full flame.
  4. Drain and wash with ice cold water till the heat is lost and noodles cool down.
  5. Prepare the salad dressing by whisking together all the sauces, ketchup, chutney, vinegar, 1 teaspoon oil, ginger garlic paste in a blender.
  6. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a non stick pan.
  7. On high flame, saute the white onion and capsicum for 30 seconds only.
  8. In a big serving bowl, Toss in the sauted onion, capsicum, shredded cabbage, carrots, noodles, spring onion leaves, Maggi Massla and the salad dressing.
  9. Mix it up well.
  10. Keep in fridge for a while.
  11. Serve it cold.

My Tip:

Add in vegetables of your choice.
