Potato bajji

Ingredients to make Potato bajji

  • potato 1 medium size
  • besan 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • baking soda pinch
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • oil for deep fry
  • For Filling
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1
  • salt and pepper 2 tsp
  • lemon 1
  • peanuts 1/4 cup
  • coriander leaves
  • Puffed rice 1/2 cup

How to make Potato bajji

  1. First peel the potato and slice them...
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients like besan, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, baking soda with water...
  3. Mix them without lumps in medium consistency
  4. Take a pan on the stove and pour the oil for frying...
  5. When oil becomes hot... Then take one slice of potato and dip them in that bajji mixture then drop it into oil slowly...
  6. Do this for the remaining slices also
  7. Fry them till it becomes golden color
  8. For filling ::
  9. Chop the onion and Tomato very small pieces
  10. Take one bowl and add the ingredients like onion, chopped tomato, salt, pepper, coriander leaves, puffed Rice peanuts and lemon juice. Mix them very well...
  11. Take potato bajji and split them at one side and keep that yummy mixture into the bajji...
  12. And Enjoy the delicious Andhra style bajjis....
