Sweet Curd Rice

Ingredients to make Sweet Curd Rice

  • rice 1 cup soaked for an hour
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Milk powder 4 tbsp (can use khoya as well)
  • water 1/2 cup
  • jaggery a pinch
  • Rose water 2 to 3 tbsp
  • sugar according to sweetness
  • Thick curd (not very sour )
  • Garnish
  • Nuts sliced badam pista
  • raisins
  • pomegranate
  • Fresh rose petals

How to make Sweet Curd Rice

  1. Cook the rice with milk, water, jaggery, and milk powder and rose water.
  2. Rice should be very soft & mushy.
  3. When cool add sugar according to your sweetness
  4. Add curd and mix well. It should be a kheer consistency.
  5. Garnish with nuts raisins and pomegranate and fresh rose petals.

My Tip:

Curd should be little sour.
