Chicken Tikka

Ingredients to make Chicken Tikka

  • chicken - 400 grams boneless cut into cubes
  • mustard oil - 1 tbsp
  • capsicum - 1 small cut into cubes
  • onion cubes -
  • tomato cubes
  • Marination Ingredients:
  • curd - ½ cup
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder - 3 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  • Kasuri methi - ½ tsp crushed
  • mustard Oil - 2 tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Chicken Tikka

  1. Take the marination ingredients in a bowl and mix nicely.
  2. Add the chicken to the mixture and keep aside for sometime. The longer marination the better. I kept for 2 hours.
  3. Heat a grill pan over gas top and layer the chicken pieces in single layer. 
  4. Grill them over on all sides on low-medium heat for about 15-20 mins. Flip them over occasionally.
  5. In the remaining marination mix the veggies and grill them for about 5 mins on high heat.
  6. Turn off and bring the chicken and veggies together. Pour the remaining mustard oil, mix well and serve.
