ABOUT Chicken Tikka RECIPE

Flavorful chicken tikka made in grill pan over gas top.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken - 400 grams boneless cut into cubes
  2. Mustard oil - 1 tbsp
  3. Capsicum - 1 small cut into cubes
  4. Onion cubes -
  5. Tomato cubes
  6. Marination Ingredients:
  7. Curd - ½ cup
  8. Kashmiri red chilly powder - 3 tsp
  9. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  10. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  11. Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  12. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  13. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  14. Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  15. Kasuri methi - ½ tsp crushed
  16. Mustard Oil - 2 tsp
  17. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take the marination ingredients in a bowl and mix nicely.
  2. Add the chicken to the mixture and keep aside for sometime. The longer marination the better. I kept for 2 hours.
  3. Heat a grill pan over gas top and layer the chicken pieces in single layer. 
  4. Grill them over on all sides on low-medium heat for about 15-20 mins. Flip them over occasionally.
  5. In the remaining marination mix the veggies and grill them for about 5 mins on high heat.
  6. Turn off and bring the chicken and veggies together. Pour the remaining mustard oil, mix well and serve.
