Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup rava
  2. 1 cup curd/yogurt
  3. 2 teaspoon chocolate powder
  4. 1 teaspoon chocolate chips /dairy milk pieces
  5. 1/2 cup powdered Sugar
  6. Pinch of salt
  7. 3/4th cup of milk
  8. 1/4th cup oil
  9. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  10. 3/4th teaspoon baking powder
  11. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  12. 8-10 dairy milk shots
  13. Some grated thick strands of chocolate
  14. Some melted milk compound chocolate

Instructions

  1. Take a deep bowl and add semolina/ Suji/ rava in it. Take a fine semolina
  2. Now firstly add all the dry ingredients chocolate powder, cocoa powder, powdered sugar as per your taste. Mix well all the dry ingredients.
  3. After mixing add vegetable oil, vanilla essence and pinch of salt and then add the Curd . Mix it well.
  4. Now add ½ of the milk (keep ½ of the milk in reserve) and mix the milk with the batter and make smooth batter. Cover the batter and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes uncover the batter. You will find the batter has become slightly thick and suji has become fluffy. Now add reserved milk gradually and make a medium thick batter. Do not add milk at once otherwise batter will become thin.
  6. Before adding soda and baking powder preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes Meanwhile add soda, baking powder and mix it well.
  7. Grease the mould or cake pan with butter and drop the cake batter into the grease mould. Tab the pan so that the batter should evenly spread without any air bubbles. Place the mould in the oven and let it bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Once the cakes become cool scratch the sides of pan and unmould it. Soft and spongy semolina chocolate is ready now.
  8. Melt some compound milk chocolate and spread over the cake
  9. Also use some dairy milk shots and grated chocolate to make it look even more tempting
