Ingredients to make Protein Salad

  • chickpeas 1 cup
  • onion ( chopped) 1/4 cup
  • tomato ( chopped) 1/4,cup
  • green chilly ( chopped) 1 tablespoon
  • spinach leaves ( chopped) 2 tablespoon
  • pomegranate seeds 1 tablespoon
  • chaat masala 1 teaspoon
  • salt ( to taste)
  • lemon juice 2 tablespoon

How to make Protein Salad

  1. Soak chickpeas in water for around 6 hours.
  2. Boil chickpeas with 4 cups water and salt for 30 minutes.
  3. Take out boiled chickpeas and add chopped onion , tomato and green chilli to it.
  4. Add chaat masala, salt and lemon juice .
  5. Mix well.
  6. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and chopped spinach.

My Tip:

If you forget to soak chickpeas, then you can soak in hot boiling water for an hour and then do the same steps.
