Murg Kababs

Ingredients to make Murg Kababs

  • chicken mince 500gm
  • ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Melted butter or ghee 2 tbsp
  • salt 1 tbsp
  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream 4 -6 tbsp
  • Fried and crushed onions large 1
  • Green chilli paste 1 tbsp
  • Cubeb powder 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • cornflour 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Chat masala to sprinkle on top
  • Extra butter or ghee to brush on top

How to make Murg Kababs

  1. Marinade the chicken mince with the ingredients listed under marination.
  2. It should be left covered in the refrigerator overnight for the best results.
  3. Next day, take it out atleast an hour before grilling.
  4. Boneless chicken can also be used for this. But in that case it needs to be ground.
  5. Preheat the oven on grill mode at 250° and grill these for 8 mins at first.
  6. Turn them over and bake again for 8 more mins.
  7. Brush the tops with more ghee or butter accordingly.
  8. Serve them with some chat masala sprinkled on top along with preferred salad.

My Tip:

Cornflour is optional. You can very well omit it. Fried and crushed onions give them a unique flavour.
