Ingredients to make Doi murgi

  • chicken - 500 gm
  • curd - 300 gm
  • Chopped onion - 2
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Roasted garam masala powder (cinnamon, cloves, elaichi, coriander, jeera, pepper corns and jaiphal) - 1 tsp
  • Refined oil - 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • bay leaf - 1
  • Dry red chillies- 2

How to make Doi murgi

  1. Marinate the chicken with curd and salt overnight.
  2. Heat a kadhai with oil.
  3. When hot, add chopped onions and saute till golden brown.
  4. Add the ginger garlic paste and all the powdered masalas.
  5. Then add the marinated chicken and cook.
  6. Cook on a low flame till the chicken is done.
  7. Add water for gravy, bring upto boil and check for salt. Serve
