ABOUT Kachhi Keri Kanda Nu Kachumber ( Salad Recipes) RECIPE

Authentic Gujarati cuisine summer salad made with raw mango, onion and few spices. This salad prevent us from sunstroke in summer.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Raw mango 1
  2. Onion 2 small
  3. Sugar 2 tablespoon
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin of mango and the onions.
  2. Keep all spices ready
  3. Grate onion and mango.
  4. Add salt as per taste in grated onions and mango.
  5. Squeeze the excess water from the grated onions and mango
  6. Dry roast cumin seeds on tawa and crush it.
  7. In a bowl mix grated onions and mango, red chilli powder, sugar and coarsely crushed cumin seeds mix well.
  8. Summer special kachhi keri kanda nu kachumber is ready to serve.
