Butter milk

Ingredients to make Butter milk

  • curd 200 gms
  • water 2 1/2 glass
  • Roasted jeera powder 1 tsp
  • curry leaves 2 spring
  • coriander leaves 2 tbspn
  • Ajwain or roasted ajwain powder 1 tsp
  • lemon 1
  • pudina leaves (optional)
  • salt as per taste
  • oil half tbspn

How to make Butter milk

  1. Take a curd in a vessel and beat till a smooth consistency.
  2. Add water.
  3. Add salt, roasted jeera powder and mix well.
  4. Take oil in tadka pan add oil ajwain, curry leaves and fry for second.
  5. Pour this tadka in butter milk.
  6. Add coriander leaves, pudina, lemon juice in it and mix well. Serve chill.

My Tip:

If you don't want to add oil you can use roasted ajwain powder instead of ajwain. Don't make butter milk too thick.
