Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled rice 2 cups
  2. Sugar 1 tbsp
  3. Chopped kaju 1 tsp
  4. Badam 1 tsp
  5. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Few kesar strands soaked in milk
  7. Raisins 1 tsp
  8. Curd 1 1/2 cup
  9. Pistachio 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl whisk curd for sometime
  2. Add sugar
  3. Add rice and whisk again for 2 minutes
  4. Now add dry fruits and kesar
  5. Keep it in fridge and chill for sometime
  6. Pour it in khulhand
  7. Garnish with some badam, pistachios
  8. Some strands of kesar and serve

In Bengal we call it doi- bhaat. It will taste even better if you add mashed banana to it. You can even add ripe mango juice to it. It tastes awesome particularly in summer.
