Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potatoes 4 large
  2. Split black gram soaked boiled 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Oil for frying
  5. Coriander leaves chopped
  6. Green chilli chopped 2
  7. Black salt 1/2 tsp
  8. Chaat masala 1 tsp
  9. Amchoor 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  11. Matara 1/2 cup (soaked them overnight and pressure cook it for 2 whistles, add turmeric powder 1/2 tsp and salt to it)
  12. Curd 2 tbsp
  13. Tamarind chutney 2 tbsp
  14. Jeera methi powder 1/2 tsp
  15. Onion 2 chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes and mash them. Mix all the spices, salt and bread crumbs .
  2. For the stuffing take urad daal, add chilli, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli powder mix well.
  3. Take potato mix place the stuffing in centre gather the edges and shape into tikki.
  4. Shallow fry tikki on medium heat on both sides till golden brown.
  5. For serving place tikki pour curd, tamarind chutney, put matara over the top.
  6. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, jeera, methi powder. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and onion.
