Chickpeas & Spinach Patties

Ingredients to make Chickpeas & Spinach Patties

  • Soaked & boiled chickpeas 1cup
  • spinach 1cup
  • onion chopped 1
  • Boiled potato 1
  • Green chili 4
  • garlic 8 to 10 cloves
  • Dry mango powder 1tbsp
  • Garam masala 1tbsp
  • fennel seeds 1tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1tbsp
  • Cheese 1cube
  • salt to taste

How to make Chickpeas & Spinach Patties

  1. Boil water and add salt put spinach for 30 seconds...now drain water put spinach into cold water.
  2. Now take all the ingredients.
  3. Take chickpea, spinach, garlic, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, green chili add 2tbsp water.now grind into mixer grinder.
  4. Transfer ground mix into a bowl.Add boiled meshed potatoes, onion, dry mango powder, garam masala and salt mix well.
  5. Make small patties fill it with cheese...(cheese cube cut into pieces)
  6. Make patties.
  7. Shallow fry in a pan.
  8. Drain excess oil.
  9. Enjoy with tomato sauce.

My Tip:

Cook patties in a low flame.It takes time to cook and when you turn patties handle gently otherwise it will break.
