Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3/4cup yellow moong dal /green split lentil without skin
  2. 1/4cup urad dal
  3. 1 tea spoon salt
  4. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  5. 1/2 tea spoon ajwain /carom seeds
  6. 1/4 tea spoon hing
  7. 1 table spoon raisins and mixed nuts
  8. 1/2 kg Curd
  9. 1/2 tea spoon salt
  10. 1/2 tea spoon roasted and grounded cumin seeds
  11. 1/2 bowl jaggery tamarind chutney
  12. 1/2 bowl green chutney
  13. 1 tea spoon sugar
  14. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the lentils over night or at least 5 to 6 hours
  2. Drain the excess water and grind in to smooth paste with hing 1/2tsp salt and garam masala.
  3. Rest it for 15 minutes then mash and stir with hands in a circular motion for 5 to 10 minutes to make bada's soft and fluffy add nuts of ur choice
  4. Fry ball shaped dropped batter on medium flame till light brown from both sides.
  5. Take them out on a paper napkin then soak in water for 10 mins.
  6. Whisk curd adds salt and sugar adjust water the consistency should not be too runny.
  7. Dip fried balls in curd for 5 minutes
  8. Arrange the Bade in serving late with curd pour both the chutneys sprinkle cumin and serve.
