Midnight Spaghetti

Ingredients to make Midnight Spaghetti

  • Pepperoni (pork) 12 roundels
  • Medium size prawn 250 gms
  • A packet of spaghetti
  • 1 bunch spinach
  • olive oil
  • Pomace olive oil for cooking
  • Green chllli
  • garlic pods
  • Flavored olive oil
  • salt

How to make Midnight Spaghetti

  1. Preparation: Take all the garlic pods, crush them using mortar and pestle. Take a mixing bowl, put the cleaned prawns add crushed garlic and the flavored olive oil and mix well and keep aside. Chop the spinach finely. Chop the green chilies finely and keep aside.
  2. Flavored olive oil - In a small hot pan add garlic pods and dried red chili, braise them. Wait till the burnt flavor starts coming and then add this to a jar of virgin olive oil.
  3. Now a non-stick wok, add 2 drops of pomace olive oil and then add pepperoni cut into strips. Saute it for a while and add chopped green chilies let the mixed flavor of pepperoni and chilly come and now add the marinated prawns, sauté and then add chopped spinach. Now add a cup of boiling water to this bring it to boiling temperature. Add the spaghetti sticks (break them into two) and let it cook. Cook till the spaghetti is done.
  4. Serve hot for a quick healthy dinner.

My Tip:

Flavoured olive oil can be replaced with plain but the flavouring adds taste to the food.
