Ingredients to make Sooji Vegetable Appe

  • 11/2 Cup - sooji
  • 1 - Big onion, finely chopped
  • 2 - tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp - coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 - Green Chilies, finely chopped
  • 10 - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard oil
  • 11/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 Cup - curd
  • 1/2 Cup - water

How to make Sooji Vegetable Appe

  1. 1. Add curd and water to sooji and mix. Add tomatoes and onion to this batter and stir.
  2. Heat oil in pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilies. Put the tadka into the batter.
  3. Preheat the appe pan for 2 minutes. Add 1 drop of oil in every semi-circle mold. Add 1 spoon of batter in each mold. Cover the appe pan with lid. Cook and after 5 minutes turn them. 5 minutes after turning them, switch off the gas.
  4. Take out the appams from the pan and serve with sauce.

My Tip:

Cook them on medium flame.
