Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sago/ sabudana - 2 cup
  2. Potatoes - 2
  3. Groundnuts crushed coarsely - 1/2 Cup
  4. Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
  5. Kishmish - 2 tsp
  6. Sugar - 1 tsp
  7. Salt as per your taste ( rock salt )
  8. Oil - 1 tsp
  9. Curry patta chopped - 7-8
  10. Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbs
  11. Crushed green chilli - 5 -6
  12. Pomegranate pearls - 2 tbs
  13. Farali chewda/ farali namkin - 2 cup

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak the sabudana in enough water for 2 hours.
  2. Grate the potatoes and keep aside in water.
  3. After 2 hours drain the excess water from sago and strain for 30 minute or till it dries out.
  4. Take a kadai, add oil for simmer then add jeera. Now add crushed chilli, curry patta, groundnuts, sesame seeds and grated potatoes.
  5. Now cover it and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. After 5 minutes add soaked sago, salt, sugar, lime juice, kishmish and mix well.
  7. Cook it just for 3 to 4 minutes add coriander leaves and remove from flame.
  8. Now take sago khichdi in large bowl add farali kevda and sprinkle some extra lime juice, red chilli powder and salt as your taste.
  9. Add some pomegranate pearls and mix well before serving.
  10. Serve with curd or as it is.
