ABOUT Crispy Masala Peanuts RECIPE

Crispy Masala Peanuts are also known as Sing bhujia. This bold, savory snack is most commonly enjoyed in the evening with a cup of tea, but rest we can have it in the way we like. In this recipe peanuts coated with gram flour and spices, which is very easy to make and a most favorite snack for all age groups. They can be deep fried, baked or microwaved, using the same ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 Cup - Peanuts
  2. 2 tbsp - Gram flour
  3. 1 tbsp - Rice flour
  4. 1/2 tsp - Red chillI powder
  5. 1/2 tsp - Coriander powder
  6. 2 pinch - Chat masala
  7. 1/4 Cup - Water
  8. 2 pinch - Black pepper powder
  9. 1 tsp - Oil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. First we need to take a big bowl, mix all ingredients together using a little water. Remember to add less water and make sure the spices and flour stick to the peanuts uniformly.
  2. Heat the oil in a kadai or frying pan. Turn the heat to medium. Fry the peanuts until they turn golden brown.
  3. When they are done, take them out from the oil and place them on a absorbent paper.
  4. At this time these are not much crispy but after cooling to room temperature, the peanuts should be crispy.
  5. Now Crispy Masala Peanuts are ready, sprinkle some chat masala and serve with hot tea.
