Little cottage cheese tikkas that can be served with drinks.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer - 200 gm
  2. Hung curd - 200 gm
  3. Green coriander and mint leaves paste - 2 tbsp
  4. Ginger, garlic and green chilli paste - 2 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Onion - 4, small
  7. Tomato - 4, small
  8. Capsicum - 2 small
  9. Chaat masala for garnish
  10. Satay sticks - 12-14 small size

Instructions

  1. Boil the satay sticks in water for ten minutes then place them in chilled water.
  2. In a bowl mix hung curd, green paste, ginger garlic chilli paste, and salt to prepare the marinade. Take out a portion of this marinade to use Tikka dip.
  3. Cut panner and capsicum in small cubes, cut onions in four pieces and separate the layers. Cut tomato in half moon shape and add all the veggies and paneer in the prepared marinade. Keep it in the freezer for ten minutes.
  4. Skew the marinated veggies and paneet with satay sticks in layers. First a slice of tomato, a layer of onion, a cube of capsicum and then a cube of paneer. Prepare all the satay sticks like this.
  5. Roast these tikkas on direct flame for 2-3 minutes or till done from all sides.
  6. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve with the dip.
