Vegetable lollipop in Bar-B-Que sauce

ABOUT Vegetable lollipop in Bar-B-Que sauce RECIPE

A vegetarian version of very famous chicken lollipops.Great on taste with distinct chinese and bar b q flavours.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For lollipops
  2. 1 Cup Finely chopped Cabbage
  3. 1 Cup Grated Carrots
  4. 1/2 cup mixed bell peppers
  5. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  6. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  7. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  8. 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  9. 2 tbsp maida
  10. 1 tbsp cornflour
  11. 1 boiled grated potato
  12. Salt to taste
  13. For Bar-B-Que sauce
  14. 1 small onion finely chopped
  15. 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  16. 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  17. 1 tsp soya sauce
  18. 1/2 cup veeba bar-b-que sauce
  19. Salt to taste
  20. Water for adjusting consistency

Instructions

  1. Firstly take all the vegetables in a mixing bowl and mix with maida,cornflour and all the ingredients mentioned under lollipops.Make a firm dough.
  2. Now shape the mixture with your hand and insert an icecream stick in it.
  3. Shape it into oblong shape all over the ice cream stick with firm hands tightly else lollipops might fall apart.
  4. Now fry it on medium flame till the lollipops are brown and evenly cooked from inside.
  5. Drain and keep it aside.
  6. For Bar-B-Que sauce
  7. Heat a tbsp of oil in a non stick pan.
  8. Now add finely chopped onions,green chillies and garlic.
  9. Now mix together bar b q sauce and soya sauce and add it to the pan.Add salt and mix.
  10. Add some water to adjust the sauce consistency and add all the lollipops in it.
  11. Carefully coat all the lollipos in bar b q sauce and cook covered for 5 minutes.
  12. Now wrap aluminium foil over the stick and serve it along with onions,lemon wedges and schezuan chutney.
  13. Garnish with spring onions and dhania patti.
