ABOUT Chicken Enchiladas With White Sauce RECIPE

Chicken Enchiladas is a recipe which can be prepared with few ingredients and with little efforts, Easy to cook and good in taste.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 6 - Tortillas
  2. For marination : 400 gm - Boneless chicken pieces
  3. 1 tsp - Mix herb
  4. 1/2 tsp - Oregano
  5. 1/5 tsp - nutmeg powder
  6. 1 Cup - Mayonnaise (use some for marination and some for sauce)
  7. 1 tsp - garlic paste
  8. 2 tsp - chilli paste
  9. salt to taste
  10. For sauce : 2 tsp - butter
  11. 2 tsp - maida
  12. 2 Cup - Milk
  13. 1/2 Cup - Sour cream
  14. Use remaining Mayo, garlic and chilli paste in sauce
  15. For Baking : 1 1/4 Cup - Cheddar cheese
  16. 1/2 tsp - chilli flakes to sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Tear the chicken pieces with hand in long strips and keep in a mixing bowl.
  2. For mayo garlic sauce: In a mixing bowl add mayonnaise, garlic, green chilli paste, oregano, mix herbs, nutmeg powder, and sprinkle some salt on it, mix well.
  3. To the shredded chicken add 2 1/2 spoon of mayonnaise, garlic and chilli marination and mix well. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Heat a pan, add butter. When it melts add maida in it and roast till 2 minutes, add milk in it. When it cooks and begins to thicken add remaining mayo, garlic, chilli paste sauce, sour cream and mix well.
  5. After 15 min take the tortilla one by one and arrange the marinated chicken in it. Roll it nicely. Make all rolls in the same way.
  6. When all the tortilla are done, arrange them in a greased baking dish. Spread the prepared white sauce over it and finally spread cheddar cheese and cover all tortillas nicely.
  7. Now bake this in preheated oven on 200-210* for 12-15 minutes or till the upper layer is light brown in colour.
  8. Take it out sprinkle some chilli flakes and serve hot.
