Simple dish with just 4 ingredients, cooked on low flame.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gms chicken
  2. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  3. 3 to 4 teaspoon soya sauce
  4. Coriander leaves


  1. In a bowl add in washed n cleaned chicken. (Excess water from the washing of the chicken should be drained out completely. I mean after washing the chicken, put it in a strainer so that excess water drops out).
  2. To this add in 8 to 10 slit green chillies. Add in soya sauce.
  3. Add in salt (remember soya sauce also has salt content).
  4. Mix well. Keep this marination for atleast 2 hours. The more you marinate the more taste.
  5. Turn on the gas on a low flame, cover with a lid or plate (whole cooking should be done on a low flame - the sauce leaves out water and the chicken is cooked in the same water. If the chicken is NOT TENDER, then depending on the tenderness add water).
  6. This is how it cooks (I have not added any water). Stir occasionally so that all pieces are cooked.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked well, add in coriander leaves and serve. (If salt is required you can just sprinkle it on top and mix before serving).
