Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  2. 1 cup brown sugar
  3. 2 large eggs
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 2 teaspoon baking soda
  6. 2 cups flour
  7. 1/2 cup milk
  8. 2 and 1/2 cup fresh blueberries


  1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease the tart forms. In a bowl, mix the butter until it is creamy. Add in sugar and beat until it is pale and fluffy.
  2. Add in eggs one at a time and beat it. Then add in the vanilla, baking powder and beat it again. Using a spoon, fold in half of flour then half of milk into the batter, repeat this procedure.
  3. Fold in the blueberries. Spoon into tart forms and sprinkle topping onto each muffin.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the tarts are golden brown and springy to touch.
  5. Serve with fresh blueberries or ice cream.
