Restaurant style recipe but still tried to make it healthy , and yummy !

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. paneer 400 gms
  2. tomato 3 big
  3. onion 2 big
  4. garlic pods 4_5
  5. ginger 2 inches
  6. cashew nuts 8
  7. cloves 4
  8. cardamom green 4
  9. cinnamon 1 inch
  10. Whole cumin seeds 1 tsp
  11. whole coriander seeds 1 tsp
  12. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  13. Dry red chilli 3
  14. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  15. salt as per your taste
  16. bay leaf 2
  17. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  18. butter 1 tbsp
  19. oil as required
  20. Low fat cream 2 tbsp
  21. sugar 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. If using frozen paneer then blanch it it hot, salted water for 10 minutes , immerse paneer in water until we add them in the gravy , or they will be hard
  2. Chop onions , tomatoes , ginger , garlic
  3. Heat oil in a nonstick pan
  4. Add cloves , cardamom , cinnamon and whole jeera saute for 2 mins
  5. Add onion , saute until they are brown
  6. Now add whole coriander seeds , cashew nuts , garlic pods ,and tomatoes one by one , saute for 4_5 mins , or until the tomatoes are soft
  7. Keep aside until they are cooled down , make a smooth paste with little water
  8. The paste look like this
  9. Heat butter in a nonstick pan
  10. Add turmeric powder , chilli powder
  11. Add ground paste
  12. Saute for 2_3 mins or until oil separates from the masala
  13. Strain and add paneer cubes , cook paneer and spices mixture together for 3_4 mins
  14. Add dry fenugreek leaves
  15. Add hot water 1 cup and when gravy starts boiling add thick cream
  16. Add 1 tsp sugar , check for salt and other spices too
  17. Serve hot with pulao or roti , naan
