An excellent dhaba style dish to be served wit some roti or tandoori roti.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken shredded-500 gm
  2. Boiked eggs-2
  3. Whole garam masala
  4. Turmeric-2 tsp
  5. Kashmiri red chilli powder-2 tsp
  6. Green chillies-5-6
  7. Ginger Garlic paste-2 tsp
  8. Chopped onion-1
  9. Salt and sugar as per taste
  10. Chopped tomato-1
  11. Sunflower oil
  12. Cream-3 tbsp
  13. Kasuri methi- a handful
  14. Garam masala powder-2 tsp


  1. Pressure cook the chicken for 2 whistle.Include the whole garam masala and salt in it.
  2. Once cooled, take out the chicken pieces and shredd it well.Reserve the stock.
  3. Boil the eggs and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add whole garam masala.
  5. Next add the chopped onions​and fry till translucent.
  6. Add the ginger garlic paste and cook well till the raw smell goes off.
  7. Add chopped tomatoes and cook till mushy.
  8. Add the salt and sugar at this stage.
  9. Then add the turmeric and red chilli powder.
  10. Cook well till the oil comes up to the top.
  11. Then add the shredded chicken and cook for another 5 min.
  12. Add the chicken stock so that it becomes a little gravish.
  13. Add garam masala powder once the gravy becomes thick.
  14. Lastly sprinkle kashi methi and add the cream.
  15. Top it with the boiled eggs and enjoy.
