Hara Bhara Chicken

Ingredients to make Hara Bhara Chicken

  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch coriander leaves
  • Few mint leaves
  • 7 peppercorns
  • 7 big green chillies
  • oil 6 tablespoons
  • ginger- Garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 3 tablespoons curd
  • salt as per taste

How to make Hara Bhara Chicken

  1. Wash and drain chicken.
  2. Grind onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves, mint leaves and peppercorns.
  3. Add oil in a cooker and add ginger garlic paste, saute until it's golden brown.
  4. Add the ground masala to the cooker.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and curd.
  6. Close the cooker and wait until 3 whistles.
  7. Choose the consistency of gravy that you require.
  8. Serve hot with Roti or rice.

My Tip:

Tastes best when the gravy is thick.
