Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup thickly grated bottle gourd ( dudhi).
  2. 1 cup fresh whisked curd.
  3. 1/4 cup freshly chopped mint leaves.
  4. 1/4tsp roasted cumin seeds powder.
  5. 1/4tsp black salt.
  6. Salt to taste.
  7. 1 &1/2 tbsp roasted and coarsely powdered flax seeds.
  8. Sugar ( optional ).
  9. 1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishing.


  1. In a vessel boil some water, add the grated bottle gourd cover it and cook for about 5 mins.
  2. Switch off the gas and let it cool.
  3. In a bowl add rest of the ingredients mix well.
  4. Once cool add the bottle gourd also.
  5. Mix everything together.
  6. Refrigerate it for some time.
  7. Serve chilled.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves or just flax seeds powder.
