ABOUT Tomato sorba RECIPE

Tomato sorba is very tasty and delicious appetizer. Easy to prepare and can be serve before lunch or dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Tomato- 500gm
  2. Whole kasmiri red chilly- 6nos
  3. Pepper corn - 10 nos
  4. Coriander stem - 2 tbsp
  5. Green cardamom - 2 nos
  6. Cinnamon - 2 small sticks
  7. Black cardamom - 1 nos
  8. Oil - 1 tsp
  9. Sugar - 1 tsp or as per taste
  10. Salt
  11. Besan- 1/2 tsp
  12. Chopped coriander - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pressure cooker add whole masala, add chopped tomatoes after masalas crackles.
  2. Cook for 2 mins with adding besan.
  3. Now add chopped coriander stems and ample amount of water, salt and cover the cooker.
  4. Waiting for 2 -3 whistle and switch off the gas..
  5. After cool down put the boiled tomato in the mixer and grind into paste.
  6. Strain the paste and again put on the gas .
  7. Add more water to make sorba to liquid consistency. Boiling for 2 minutes.
  8. Add sugar and check the salt.
  9. Add some chopped coriander and serve.
