Healthy , light rawa muffins to enjoy in breakfast or as snacks with a hot cup of tea or milk .

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. semolina - 1 cup
  2. curd - 1/2 cup
  3. ghee - 2 tbsp
  4. salt
  5. red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  6. sliced onion - 2
  7. baking powder - 1 tsp
  8. mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  9. urad dal - 1/2 tsp
  10. Refined oil
  11. pepper powder - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the semolina until they smell fragrant, leave it aside to cool for sometime.
  2. Now mix the baking powder, salt and ghee to the semolina.
  3. Add the curd as well and give this a mix.
  4. Now add the red chilly powder to the above mix and whisk.
  5. Mix until everything is mixed. Now add required amount of water to the above mix to make it like a pouring consistency.
  6. Now heat some oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds and urad dal, once they splutter, add the sliced onion , pepper powder and saute for few minutes and keep aside.
  7. Now mix half of the onion mix to the semolina mix.
  8. Pour the semolina batter into the greased moulds, top them with rest of the fried onion.
  9. Serve them.
