ABOUT Milk based Coconut Kalakand RECIPE

Kalakand is milk based special delicious desert. Specialy made on grand festival. I have done small innovative variation by adding grated fresh coconut.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Milk 3/4 cup
  2. Freshly Grated Coconut 1 cup
  3. Sugar 3/4 cup
  4. Cardamom Powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Ghee 2 teaspoon
  6. Sliced Pistachio 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Grease a plate with ghee and keep ready.
  2. Take thick bottomed pan, add all ingredients except ghee and pistachio.
  3. Heat and stir continuously until the mix leaves the side of the pan.
  4. Pour into the greased plate and pat to spread evenly.
  5. Garnish with sliced pistachio and press them gently.
  6. Let them cool. Cut into desired shapes and serve with savories.
