ABOUT Jalebi Icecream Sandwich RECIPE

I served in home made fruit ice bowl. Don't you think it's so....yummy???

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup + 1 1/2 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 1/2 cup whipped cream (beat for 10 minutes)
  4. 2 scoops strawberry ice cream
  5. 1 teaspoon vanila essence
  6. ghee for shallow frying
  7. For sugar syrup:
  8. 2 cups sugar syrup(1 cup sugar+ 1 cup water+pinch of yellow food colour)
  9. 1 teaspoon rose essence
  10. For garnish:
  11. 2 tablespoon chopped dry fruits
  12. dry rose petals
  13. cherries

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup flour in a bowl. Add 1 cup water, mix and beat the mixture using hands for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Cover with cling film and set aside in a warm place to ferment for 20 hours.
  3. Heat some ghee in a non stick pan.
  4. Warm sugar syrup in a deep non stick pan.add essence and colour.
  5. Add remaining flour to the fermented better and whisk.
  6. Add essence and whisk well.
  7. Transfer the batter in a squeeze bottle.
  8. Squeeze out the batter directly into hot ghee and shallow fry on medium heat from both sides till golden brown and crisp.
  9. Drain the jalebi in warm sugar syrup and soak for 1 minute.
  10. Drain on a plate.
  11. Line a silicon muffin mould tray with 1 jalebi each place 1 tablespoon cream and strawberry ice cream on top of 2 prepared mold each. Cover with another jalebi and lightly press.
  12. Demold and garnish with dry fruits, rose petals and cherry.
  13. Your jalebi ice cream is ready.
  14. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
